Monty

Posted by Stuart Matthews on 03 March 2010

In 2009 my horse was found to be allergic to wheat, rye, barley ,maize and oats following several bouts of severe skin reactions. I changed to simple systems feeds in the summer 2009 and have been very pleased with the results. He has had plenty of energy and his skin condition and foot growth has improved considerably. I managed to get him back fit for the end of the eventing season finishing with a place in his last run. Read more

Leia

I thought you might like some before and after pics of my little Sec D, Leia. She has only ever been fed SS and looks fabulous on it. A long way from the starving, scabby little mare we bought! She is a shining example of how good your feed is!

Bubbles, Batman and Vesuvius

Posted by Sarah Bingham on 17 February 2010

James has two 148 ponies having sadly sold tiny Bubbles (Spider Pig) in the summer to a showjumping family in Norway after a very successful year. Batman is a 10year old gelding from Germany, very charming x event pony who could equally be a top dressage pony and this year he will focus on going to HOYS for newcomers. Vesuvius, or Fury as she is known at home, is a 6yr 148 mare from Holland. She is very talented and will she will be looking to go to HOYS for Newcomers and FOX in 2010. We feed all the ponies on Simple Systems and found it to be very effective, it keeps good condition with the right amount of energy as well as keeping their minds straight which is so important when you are competing. Argentto, Rosie and Vampy

Posted by Sarah Bingham on 17 February 2010

I have recently moved all my show jumping horses and youngstock onto Simple System feeds as other feeds made them too sharp and spooky whilst at home and especially at shows. I have noticed an huge change especially with my main horse Argentto and he has been on fine form lately, qualifying for and winning many events and even jumping a 6 bar! I have the Blue Chip (!) Winter championships to contend in April, plus regional finals with Argentto and I'm really looking forward and hoping to have a successful summer with the horses this year and I hope Simple System feeds continues to aid my winning! Cherry

Posted by Jo on 16 February 2010

When we bought our house, a little over 2 1/2 years ago, we inherited a number of retired liveries from the previous owners. One in particular, Cherry, a piebald mare standing at about 13 hh and dentally challenged, we were told that if she made it through the winter, well we would be lucky. She was in a bit of a sorry state. Her stable was piled high with hay that she just couldn't eat and dinner time consisted of some vetran mix and chaff. Bless her, try as she might, sucking the food just wasn't giving her what she needed and I believe she was slowly starving to death. A friend of mine had recently introduced me to simple system for my own horses and suggested I call them about my little Cherry. This I did. We discussed at great lengths her age - 37 - the fact that she was d... Read more
